UGH....
i got up to go to court, filed the proof of service & then found out that i have to do:
1) wait 30 calendar days to file a MOTION FOR DEFAULT
OR
2) have henry go to court to file a waiver so he can file his response. or pay the 350.
since he's a lazy shit & is making me do all this, i've got to go back to court the 1st week of march to file the MFD (mother fucking documents...lol!), the FINAL DISCLOSURE WAIVER, all of the JUDGEMENT papers & the MSA (which i have to retype & get notarized)
now...what will piss me off is if i do all this & then they throw the case out for something stupid (wrong check mark in one spot) and i have to restart all this shit over. by that time i'll no longer be a california citizen. and i'm afraid to find out how long it takes to get a divorce in north carolina.
but thankfully, we don't have to attend the parenting classes. they're only for parents who can't come to an agreement on visitation/custody or have ORDERS TO SHOW CAUSE on file with the court.
by the time i'm finished with all this, i'm going to work on helping people file these things on their own....EASILY. the whole GD system is criminal! its too GD difficult to get a divorce! i think they do this to deter people from actually going through with it.
i already told dale, that if i DO decide to go forth with marrying him, there is no way that we're ever going to get divorced. if it comes to that point, we'll live in separate parts of the house & he can have a girlfriend. lol!! by that time....hell, i may get a girlfriend too!! LOL!
i'm bushed. i'm going to try to take a nap, since i didn't sleep a wink last night thanks to my lovely sinus infection.
